I suggest redesigning reactions, because the way they work now, it’s not even clear which message they’re related to.
The first suggestion is to obviously make reactions attached to the messages they’re related to, rather than a separate message.
The second suggestion is to make XMTP stand out among other messengers by adding reactions as GIF images, allowing for maximum expression and creative expression, but at the same time avoiding cluttering the group with GIF reactions.
